Dries Huygens

During a period of two years (10/2012-09/2014), Dr. Dries Huygens will be residing at the IMBIV in the framework of a Marie Curie InternationalOutgoing Fellowship, funded by the European Commission. The research project is entitled "Linking living plant traits to soil biogeochemical functions in ecosystem patches under different land use regimes using an isotope-based assessment (PlaBioF)", and will be executed in collaboration with the Ghent University, Belgium (Prof. Dr. Ir. Pascal Boeckx).
The overall research objective of this project is to determine the influence of plant community composition on N cycling processes at the landscape-scale using a functional diversity approach.
